Among the more than 50 affiliated vessels, the longliners targeting Black Scabbardfish and the purse seiners catching small pelagics are particularly relevant. Currently, our members are responsible for over 90% of Black Scabbardfish catches in mainland Portugal.
In addition, we have more than 20 vessels dedicated to small pelagic fishing.
We also have affiliated vessels targeting other species, notably octopus fishing.
All affiliated vessels practice artisanal fishing.
